Raise the anchor during summer
Is it possible to rent a boat?
During summer, you like to get away from your home to enjoy the pleasures of nature and do different activities. Recreational boating is one of those activities, but for some reason you cannot dedicate yourself to it as much as you would like to. Rental could be the solution!
Rental can be a good choice for you if:
- recreational boating is a new experience that you want to try
- you are a seasonal renter of a secondary residence or a camper
- you do not have a place to store
- you do not want to worry about off-season maintenance
Conditions of the lease
The boat you rent will be inspected by our mechanic experts to ensure you tranquility during your escape. The boat comes with all the required navigation equipment and accessories required for on board activities.
After signing the lease agreement, an attendant will show you the nautical basics of safe navigation (if necessary) and the main functions of your boat. You're now ready to cast off!
Throughout the duration of the lease, you are responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the boat. Before each departure, you must perform a routine audit. You need to always verify the good functioning of the boat and report as soon as possible any malfunction at Performance Marine. It is for your safety and the one of your passengers!
According to the insurance contract, the renter of a boat is required to navigate in Québec’s waters.
Purchase Option
You love the boat you rented? You can buy it! For the payment, two funding options will be offered to you.
The cost of a seasonal rent
The rental cost (from date X to Y) is estimated at 20% of the value of the boat.
In addition:
- the amount of your insurance, which varies depending on the type of boat, its length, its value and the desired protection
- fuel cost
- location of dock (in one of the Performance Marine marinas or in any other marina)
- verification before winter storage
